Information this site uses

The site provides information about Clinxio. It has no accounts, forms, uploads or patient-data submission facility. You do not need to provide your name or email address to read it.

A web server receives technical information when it delivers a page, including your IP address, the requested page or file and the time of the request. Hosting and security systems may record this information, together with browser details, response codes and security events. This is distinct from advertising or visitor analytics.

If you email us, we receive your email address, the name you provide, your message, any attachments and associated email delivery information. Giving us this information is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer an enquiry without the relevant contact details.

Please do not send patient-identifiable information, clinical records or health information. This public website is not a route for treatment, patient consent or urgent clinical help.

Why information is used

Email correspondence is used to answer enquiries and keep necessary records of those discussions. Technical information is used to deliver the site, investigate faults, protect against misuse and maintain security.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to enquiries, operating and securing the site, and investigating faults or abuse. We use information only where necessary for these purposes and balance these interests against your rights and freedoms.

Cookies and tracking

This holding website uses no analytics, advertising technology, marketing pixels or tracking scripts. It does not use non-essential cookies or local-storage tracking, and contains no embedded third-party content that introduces tracking. The site files do not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. There is no marketing sign-up, profiling or automated decision-making on this site.

Links to other websites open those services only if you choose to follow them. Their own privacy practices then apply.

Who may receive information

Enquiries are handled by the people responsible for Clinxio. Microsoft 365 is used for email, and Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps provides website hosting. Those providers and relevant service subcontractors may process information to deliver, secure and support their services. Information may also need to be provided to professional advisers or public authorities where necessary for a legal matter or required by law. The site does not sell information or share it for advertising.

International processing

Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure may involve processing personal information outside the United Kingdom. Relevant Microsoft contractual and international-transfer safeguards apply where required by UK data protection law. For more information about these safeguards, contact hello@clinxio.com.

How long information is kept

We retain email enquiries for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless longer retention is justified by a legal claim or dispute. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the relevant Microsoft service configuration and only as needed for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask for access to your personal information and correction of inaccurate information. Depending on the circumstances, you can also ask for deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy of information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

Send a request to hello@clinxio.com. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Requests are normally answered within one month; if a lawful extension or clarification is needed, we will explain it.

Complaints

You can raise a privacy complaint through the same email address. We will acknowledge a data-protection complaint within 30 days and take appropriate steps to investigate it and explain the outcome. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit the ICO’s complaints page or call 0303 123 1113. You do not lose that right by contacting us first.

Scope and updates

This notice applies only to the public Clinxio holding website and related enquiries. It does not apply to the future Clinxio clinical product. If the site’s purposes or data practices change, this notice will be updated before the new activities begin.
